Passionate. Primitive. Maternal. Encompassing. Hepworth's work exudes renewal, nurturing, protection and were meant to be an experience to any observer. The FAC possesses these same qualities during an ever-changing life experience, which is the inspiration for our chair. The design emphasizes the experience of the occupant. A hand to hold. A shoulder to lean on. Arms to embrace you. With the use of material and form, the experience of the occupant reflects these maternal qualities.
